If this year has taught us anything it is that the world is in need of some extra charity and support, and we have decided to start at home. This year we have decided to grow CVSS’ Day of Care into a Season of Care. For the entire month of December CVSS will be collaborating with a number of partners in order to provide support and care for those who are most in need over the holiday season.
Dance 4 Jamaica is organised by a collective of British Caribbean artists, music industry professionals and their friends to assist those who were affected by the flooding associated with Hurricane Eta.
CVSS in partnership with the Caribbrit, Black Minds’ State and Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) will be assisting farmers in St. Mary and Manchester by providing them with seedlings to assist with the restarting of their farms, as well as vouchers or cash grants to help fill the gap caused due to a loss of income. In addition to these partners CVSS is also partnering with the National Youth Council, to identify young people in the hardest hit communities of rural St. Andrew, and provide them and their families with care packages.
